Church PicnicSunday 
October 30th 4-6pm Granny White Park in Brentwood. RSVP by Oct. 26 to Janice. We are looking for Sr. High students to volunteer to help run the Cake Walk, do face painting, help with set up and parking, and do corn hole. Please let us know if your child is interested in helping out. This is a great way for the Sr. High to serve the church.

Echo Flag Football Tournament
Sunday Nov. 6th 3-6pm at Covenant. This is a co-ed dgroup challenge where each dgroup will team up with other dgroups in the same grade to compete for the Echo Bowl Trophy. There will be food for everyone and prizes for the winners. 

Looking for Ushers
The Sr. High is currently looking for guys to help be ushers. We are asking for a commitment of 1 month or 4 weeks straight per year. There will be a short time of training for this position. This is another great way for our students to be of service within the church body. If you son is interested in helping out please let us know and we will get them plugged in. 

BLINK
Saturday night Nov. 5th 6-8pm in the Youth Room. This is a night designed for Students and their parents to come and worship together. David Roberts and his student led worship team will lead us in RUF style hymns. 

Chicago Mission Trip Information Meeting
Monday night Nov. 7th at the home of Anna and Rick Jacques. This is a night to come out and hear Joel Hammernick, the director of Sunshine Gospel Ministries in the Southside of Chicago speak about his vision for this wonderful ministry that we will be plugging in with again for our 2012 Summer Mission Trip. If you are the parent of a student interested in going please come hear Joel speak and catch the vision for what this trip is all about for you child. RSVP to J Hager at jhager@covenantpres.com

Echo
Starts back for the Fall on Wednesday night August 31st from 6-8pm in the Youth Room.

This Semester we will be beginning a new series entitled: Running the Race where will be studying the Promises of God.

Summer 2012
Chicago Mission Trip
Next Summer we will be heading back to Chicago June 10-16. We will once again be working with Joel Hamernick and his amazing ministry in the South Side of Chicago called Sunshine Gospel Ministries. Sunshine Gospel Ministries exists to seek renewal in the city through ministries of discipleship, mercy, and justice. We do this through building relationships, teaching and mentoring, developing life skills, care and advocacy in our community.  Meeting will begin in January of 2012

RYM
The Sr. High will be heading back to RYM July 2-6. RYM is our annual Summer Beach trip to Panama City Beach, Florida for an incredible week of teaching, swimming, playing all kinds of sports, and hanging out.
